Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products and Pfaff Verkehrstechnik are set to merge on 1 June 2023. The two companies, which are now merging into a single limited company, have been the high-performance double act in the Pfaff-silberblau brand world for many years. The portfolio of the former Pfaff Verkehrstechnik will continue unchanged under the umbrella of Columbus McKinnon.
All Pfaff-silberblau products from a single source
The merger of the hitherto legally independent companies into one entity offers various advantages for customers, who will be served and supported exclusively by Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products from June onwards. From now on, they will receive all products, solutions and services from a single source – with simpler and more efficient processing from ordering to delivery and customer service. At the same time, they will benefit from a significantly larger product portfolio. A newly established after-sales service will offer even more comprehensive and faster support.
Harmonisation for the benefit of customers
Many processes that were previously handled separately can now be better harmonised and dovetailed because the former Pfaff Verkehrstechnik has access to Columbus McKinnon's entire organisational structure and all established processes. For customers and suppliers, the contact person, contact details, location and address remain unchanged.
Ulrich Hintermeier, Managing Director of Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, comments on the merger of the two companies: "On 1 June, we are bringing together what belongs together. From then on, all customers of the former Pfaff Verkehrstechnik will be served and supported by Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products. The merger will enable us to meet customer and market requirements even better. Under the Columbus McKinnon umbrella, we remain the well-known reliable technology partner for transport engineering and beyond."
