TAG Working Load Limit: 350 - 5000 kg
TWG Working Load Limit: 350 - 1250 kg
The TAG and TWG Universal Grabs are extremely versatile and also save time, as they do not require chains, cables etc. when hoisting and loading material.

Features & Benefits

FEATURES and BENEFITS:

  • The TAG has a large jaw capacity that enables them to be used on a multitude of applications such as loading machine tools, steel constructions, welding and numerous assembly functions.
  • The TWG vertical grab is a variation of the TAG. It is specially designed with a small outside measurement for use on hard to reach places such as loading billets onto a lathe.
  • These Universal Grabs do not require additional chain slings and are very easy and simple to use.
  • The automatic gripping force is retained by a positive tension jaw spring, even if there is slack in the chain.
  • The clamps are also fitted with a ‘Quick-Open’ lever for ease of loading and unloading.
  • The “Quick-Open“ type universal grab opens by lifting and simultaneously pulling the lever out against the tension spring.
  • The automatic clamping force is retained by a positive tension spring, even if there is slack in the chain.
  • Universal grabs up to 2.0 t capacity are equipped with round chains, clamps with increased capacities are delivered with roller chains.

OPTIONS:

  • Model TAG up to 1.25 t working load limit is available with protective lining on the clamping jaws on request. This results in a decrease of the jaw capacity by 10 mm.

INFO:

  • The surface hardness of the material must not exceed HRC 30/Brinell 300.
  • The minimum load is marked on the side of the clamp.
