Have you ever needed to lift a load that is below you or that you need to drift from one area to another? The CM® Hurricane™ 360° and Hurricane Mini 360° are specially designed for these applications. Unlike other hand chain hoists on the market, these feature a unique hand chain cover that allows the chain to rotate a full 360 degrees, allowing the operator to lift from virtually any position – even above the load. The cover design also promotes smooth chain movement in any multi-angle application.
When it comes to drifting applications where the hand chain angle needs to be adjusted throughout the lift, operators can easily use two Hurricane hoists in tandem to drift loads from one location to another.
Where the rigid handle of a traditional lever hoist would be difficult to maneuver or operate, our Hurricane hoists allow you to easily work around obstructions.
If a lever hoist is required, our ultra-compact, 360-degree rotating CM 602 and 603 ratchet lever hoists can get the job done. Built to perform just like larger models, these mini lever hoists can fit in the tightest spaces, while still offering the increased efficiency of 360-degree operation.
Because the Hurricane 360° and Hurricane Mini 360° can be used from virtually any angle, these hoists can also help keep the operator out of harm’s way when lifting a load. The rotating chain guide on these hoists lets the operator conveniently maneuver a load without standing under or near it.
Lever hoists are not only useful lifting tools, but they are also ideal for pulling and securing loads. But, in many of these applications, safe and ergonomic use are not possible. We designed our CM Tornado™ ratchet lever hoist to help solve this problem. Featuring a unique 360-degree rotating lever and fold-out revolving handle, operators realize the full potential of 360-degree rotation, giving them the ability to work up to 12 times faster and with as much as 30% less pull force than with conventional ratchet lever tools.
The unique offset, or curved, lever design keeps the operator’s hand and body aligned with the load chain. This reduces the risk of the twist effect (when a hoist twists around the chain) and the need to stabilize the hoist with another hand. The revolving, fold-out handle allows the operator to maintain control of the lever ergonomically and easily through its full 360-degree range of motion.
