The program kicks off with a virtual event, setting the stage for an unforgettable summer. It concludes with a wrap-up event, where interns can reflect on their achievements and celebrate their growth and contributions.

Internship Program FAQs
How long is the summer internship program?
CMCO’s summer internship program is 10 weeks long, beginning in June and ending in early August. Interns work 40 hours a week during the program.
Where are CMCO internships located?
Internships are available at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC, multiple plant locations in Wisconsin, and other U.S. sites. Internship locations depend on project needs at the time.
Is this a paid internship?
Yes, all interns receive a standard pay rate each summer.
When is the best time to apply for an internship at CMCO?
Internships are typically posted in the beginning of the fall semester for the following year and are filled on a rolling basis. Most internships are filled by November.
Can I get class credit from my internship?
Yes, our Intern Leaders (managers) are happy to complete additional forms and/or integrate necessary material into the interns’ workload to fulfill class requirements.
Is there an opportunity for full-time employment after my internship?
Our goal is to transition interns to full-time positions post-program, though opportunities are based on department needs at that time.
How can I prepare for my internship interview at CMCO?
Be confident! Know your resume and be prepared to speak on previous projects that you’ve worked on, your past schooling, and achievements you’ve earned.
